Old Mill Complex

This project was focused upon the restoration and refurbishment of a 19th century Jute Mill into 17 new flats. The building is an ‘A’ grade listed building so it was essential that we maintained the aesthetic in order to comply with the buildings regulations and ensured that the listed building status was not tarnished.

Express Heating & Plumbing was solely responsible for the design and installation of the plumbing, heating and drainage facilities within this property. This is inclusive of:

• A 400kw district heating network, complete with heat interface units and individual heat monitoring.
• Traditional cast iron gutters and downpipes.
• Lead fastenings and valleys.
• Complete internal drainage system.
• Full internal plumbing and heating fit out.
